SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
Sebring International Raceway is home of the world-famous 12 hours of Sebring; an annual endurance racing event that is part of the American LeMans Series.The track is active year round with racing schools, testing, club events and other activities. 12 hours of Sebring is held annually on the 3rd Saturday of March. Tickets are $70-$80. |

HIGHLANDS HAMMOCK STATE PARK
Highlands Hammock is one of Florida's oldenst parks dating back to 1931. Visitors can enjoy biking along a scenic roadway, hiking nine different trails, picnicking, and a full service historic restaraunt. There are elevated boardwalks over the natural Florida Cypress swamp providing a unique opportunity to see different wildlife up-close and personal. Admission is $4 per car. |

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF THE HIGHLANDS
The children's museum provides a safe and exiting area for children to explore and discover that learning can be fun. Admission is $3.00 per person for children and adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Open Tuesday - Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Closed Sunday and Monday. |

LAKE PLACID CALADIUM FESTIVAL
Lake Placid is known for two things: Its beautiful murals that decorate city walls and holding the title of "caladium capital of the world." Caladiums are decorative plants that have become an integral part of Lake Placid's image and economy. The Caladium Festival is a three day event featuring art competitions, refreshments, entertainment, caladium bulbs & plants for sale, and bus tours of the colorful caladium fields. Held in late August annually. |
